Typography Pamphlet

This pamphlet was created as a project for GrC 322: Advanced Digital Typography. The course focused on Advanced typographic principles relating to print and electronic media, and we worked on Page layout and font management with consideration for electronic media. Applied problems focusing on typographic design, typographic application and file preparation, including web typography and eBook creation. This was the final assignment of the course where we were asked to create a pamphlet “advertising” a font, showing how it could be used and marketing it for someone to purchase it. It was a creatively free project, so I went out of my usual design style and played with fun colors and compositions. I also created a storyline, where it would show an email letter being written to a friend before summer break using the chosen “Puffin Display” typeface. I went for a scrapbook-looking design and added quotes, a description of the typeface, and other photographic and Adobe Illustrator-designed pages to complete the project.
